This is my favorite commercial. It’s really funny because the little boy was talking and using the computer. He was trying to promote the product and then he barfed. I think this ad is a parody. It is hilarious!
Doing the N. H. D. project was so fun and interesting. I learned so many things from it. The people in my group were Ritacia and Pialani. The historic figure we choose to do our presentation on was Francisco B. Leon Guerrero. He’s the guy that gained American citizenship for the people of Guam. Learning about his life and what he did helped me understand all the things I never really understood. I like how Mrs.Carino had fieldtrips for us to do our projects at the libraries. It gave us more time to put more work into our projects. She even gave up time after school to work with us at the library and I like to thank her for that. It was so suprising when my group won for the school competition. We started laughing so hard when we were announced second place.
There are some ways we could have improved our project. We could have had a video on ours, but we ran out of time. We should of tried to get more information about F. B. L. G. I also wished we could have changed the background and add more pictures. Our project is okae as it is because look we got third place for the island-wide competition. A few more things maybe could’ve got us first place.
If we could do this project again I would like to do it about a lady. I want to choose someone that made a big impact all over the world probably. I want someone who was able to prove something or someone wrong. I want someone who gave women the rights to do something. Probably we could have videos of what women are allowed to do today compared to back then. This sounds like another interesting project. It’s so sad that this project is finally over.
Well, the person I chose was Albert Fish. He’s a historical killer. His story of his killings sounded so interesting to me, but yet so sick. The way he killed reminded me of vampires. At first I thought he was just making up stories, but I guess it turned out to be true.
Well it’s not the best theme park ever, but it was kind of cheap. Great Wolf Lodge looked so much better, but we had to choose something that we could afford. Ritacia, Taylor, and I choose Wild Waves. The one that is located in Seattle, Washington. I want to go to the Disco Flashback because we’ll probably see Pia there. They have weird names for their different areas of the park, but they look really fun. Also the rides have weird colors, but they look really fun to ride.
There is two parts to the park. They have the wild, and then they have the waves. The wild part is all the rides like the rollercoasters. There is one ride called The Gambler. It looks so cool because it goes in circles, just like my head. The second part is the waves. That’s where you could swim and ride on slides. It’s just a waterpark. There’s this one place there that sounds so interesting. It’s called the enchanting village. This theme park is like a two in one kind of thing.
Today, we had four different presentations about bullying. People that bully tend to regret doing it. It could even ruin your life. The people that bully others are usually the most popular kids in school. If you do get bullied, you shouldn’t just let it keep on happening. You should tell someone. A person who gets bullied could have low self-esteem as they grow up. Bullying is just wrong. In our school it looks like everyone is starting to respect each other. The number of it has gone down. Probably the people who bully others just have nothing better to do in their lives.
The workshop would have been better if it wasn’t so long. It also could have been good if all the presenters spoke louder. I didn’t understand what they were trying to say. They should also do more things that can attract our attention. It would be better if they each talked about different things about bullying. They even contradicted things that were said on another presentation.

One of the lessons I learned during Christmas break was that it’s good to learn who you are related to. We had a family reunion at my grandma’s house one sunday. I saw lots of new people that Ididn’t even know I was related to. My grandma told me to be writing down the names of the people who brought something and what they brought, but I didn’t even knwo thier names. So, I let someone else do it. We also hosted a night at the Friary for the Christmas village. My grandma told me to go call one of my aunties, but I didn’t even know who she was.
Another lesson I learned was that sometimes you just need to sleep. I had softball practice one day. I didn’t feel like practicing, but I had to force myself to get up. I kept yawning on the field. I started to get dizzy because of the heat. Once I got home I fell asleep, but then I had to wake up to go with my friends. So, I hung out with my friends and we went to G.P.O. and Tumon. I felt very tired after having practice all day and being in the sun. When I got home I had a bad headache, so I couldn’t sleep. I tried taking tylenol, but it didn’t work. The headache kept getting worse. It was so late, so i forced myself to sleep. When I woke up the headache was gone.
Well first of all you have to have a camera in order to even take pictures. Once you have the camera you have to learn how it works. To be able to see what your taking a picture of look at the view finder, which is the screen on digital cameras, and the part where where you look into on other cameras. If you want to focus on things you can auto focus by pressing the shutter half way down.
Have you ever seen in pictures how people have red eyes? Well, there’s a button on your camera which is for red eye, so it wouldn’t show in your picture. Some cameras have shutters that don’t open automatically when you turn on your camera. So make sure you open them. You also have to have good exposure to be able to see what’s in the picture. If there are dark things that are in the picture that you want to light up use the fill flash feature. If you want to take pictures of things very close up use the macro feature so it can focus only on that thing. When you take your pictures they should be saved onto a smart media, memory stick, or sd card so that when you are done taking pictures you can insert the card into a card reader that allows you to save them to a computer.
I’m not really sure why I picked those questions. My survey is so boring. I couldn’t think of any other questions. I could’ve came up with more interesting ones, but I don’t know what was wrong with me. What I found interesting about the answers is that there are more girls in this gate tech class than boys. Also that a lot of people own a camera.
Ritacia, Taylor, and Amber’s surveys were fun. They all had quetions asking if theirs were better then the other. Amber’s own asked if you had bar’s on your window. That’s just a weird question to ask. She also had interesting answers.
Well, like mostly every halloween we have school. When I got to school I went straight to my teacher’s class to get our halloween grams ready. Once the bell rang we started delivering them. A lot of people weren’t in the class they were supposed to be in, so that made us run around. Lot’s of people dressed up in many different costumes. Some people just dreesed down and didn’t follow the rules. I dressed up as Pipi Long Stockings. I got a lot of compliments about it. The schedule was changed just for that day.
At the end of the day we had activities. You could’ve either go to the dance or the activityone of your teachers had plan. Outside the gym, where the dance was, they sold things like shave ice, drinks, and some snacks. There were a lot commentsabout the dance. Some good and some bad. Also the dance was stopped early. Here are comments from people:
Jade-”The dance was hected, hard, and busy”
Marini-”The dance..uhhhh. Well it was crazy. It wasn’t well put together. It wasn’t as good as before.”
Taylor-”The dance was great! The DJ made alot of us mad. The system heated up and had to cool off the equipment. The DJ also talked so many times and he decided for us to pay the full thing, but we just ended up paying half! Well, other than that. I enjoyed the dance. I started dancing the thriller By: Michael Jackson and alot of people were laughing. Corey, Anthony and Leahlani joined with me! Myself would’nt even stop laughing also. This dance is something I know ill always remember & it will become a great memory that I will NEVER forget!”
